Can love exist without hate?
Many say that love cannot exist without hate. The usual explanation goes like this: "In order for love to exist there must be hate". I can tell my opinion right away, I think that the explanation is used only to justify hateful actions. Love doesn't have its roots in hate, love has its roots in love, love is without time and rules. Hate in the other hand is based on rules, based on fear, based on sorrow, based on anger...shortly, based on patterns. If you haven't already realized it, if you're observant enough, you'll see that you have never felt hate and love during the same moment.
Some often compare love and hate to the colors black and white. Black is the contrast to white, black makes white more visable and white makes black visable, which means that theese colors work together, they help eatchother... Love and hate do not. Love doesn't make hate more tempting or visable.. and hate does absoulutely not elevate love. And if I can take it further I would like to claim that white has its roots in black, because if we couldn't see light there would be no darkness. This means that anything that has a contrast depends on its opposite. Love is not the contrast to hate, love doesn't depend on hate. SO... Can love exist without hate?... my answer is: Yes it can.
