Fortum Forerunner is a trainee programme that ensures a flying start for a career in the energy business. During our 18 month trainee programme our Fortum Forerunner trainees have an opportunity to work with variable assignments in two different business environments. Experiences from different units are shared during reflective workshops and an experience on real development project work is also part of the programme. Our current trainee programme, 2009-2010, has two main development themes; Doing successful business in East -Russia and Developing self-leadership skills and it includes a mentorship during the entire 18 months.
